This is my end of year BA Honours Degree display. I have a huge passion for both fashion and design, as well as visual merchandising and displays. This project was about combining your passion and striving to create an outcome that would really show your creative flare and compliment what sort of direction of what I ideally want to work in when I leave University and be welcomed in to the industry. I decided to design a three dimensional, hand made window shop display/ pop up display in a visual merchandising aspect for women's fashion inspired by spring summer 2016 by both highstreet and high end fashion. I decided my theme to revolve around a summer theme, which was the sun/sea/sand/holiday vibe. All things related to this theme is found in my display, you name it - I have it! From inflatable toys, fish and chip crisps, beach chair, beach photography polaroids, to a surfboard etc! I have incorporated my items of clothes in a funky creative way, displaying them all individually and handing well to represent its purpose. I made this hut from scratch using chipboard and wooden shed panels found in a local skip! It look a long time to build this, not forgetting all the layers of paint, sanding down, adding and buying my accessories and making it shabby looking! I am so proud of this display, that I even got my own name (also logo) designed by a designer who made my logo come to life and light in fact by bend glass with embedded LED lights, to add on the front of the beach hut to make the hut feel like the beginning/ entrance of window shop display/ retail shop - making it relevant to my brief. I even incorporated my own design of corporate identity of Emma Louise by not only the lights but on my top draped over the chair, as well as my business cards placed on the side next to my comment book for the show. I made it my own and I'm so proud of it. I hope you all love!
